This module is designed to familiarise persons who are new to OLE Engineering and whose work may involve or interact with OLE construction activities.
It is designed to develop a person’s knowledge and understanding as defined in module OLEC 1 of Network Rail specification NR/L2/CTM/028 Competence and Training in OLE Construction Engineering
Upon successful completion of this course, competencies will be uploaded to Sentinel. Sentinel smart cards are ordered directly from Sentinel at www.railsentinel.co.uk
It is the Sponsors responsibility to ensure candidates booked onto the course are eligible for the training they are to receive and in line with any relevant medical level or restriction that may apply, in accordance with NR/L2/OHS/00124 Competence Specific Fitness Medical Requirements.
Must be over the age of 18.
Must have a valid Sentinel profile.
Meet the Network Rail Standard NR/L1/OHS/051 (Drugs & Alcohol). A valid D&A must be on Sentinel.
Photo ID – For British Nationals – a current and valid recognised, branded form of identity token, used for accessing the RMI (Railway Maintained Infrastructure) such as a Sentinel Card, full driving licence, passport, biometric ID Card, resident permit as per Home Office guidance or ‘ValIDate’ card. For Non-British Nationals – a current and valid passport is required.

Please be advised that you do not need to hold PTS to attend the training but you must hold it to use the competency on site.
