This competency is for those who are required to safely control the movements of machinery within the railway infrastructure. These machines include RRV’S (road rail vehicles) RMMM (rail mounted maintenance machines) OTM’S (on track machines).
As a standalone MC (machine controller) you will only be able to control specific machines of which you are deemed competent and machines that do not undertake lifting duties. For that an extra competency of CC (crane controller is required). Other attachments may be added to this competency. See Attachments. Pre requisite COSS and Core module.
